SYFA registration for small sided age groups for season 2026 opened on Comet on Mon 17th Nov
SYFA registration fee for membership and insurance is £110 per team id for age groups 2020 to 2016 and £130 for 2015's age group as they have an 18 month registration period

Super 5's - 2018's
Soccer7's - 2017's & 2016's
Soccer 7's & 9v9's - 2015's (18 month registration for 2015's from Jan 26 to Jun 27, move to playing 9v9's from Aug 26)
9v9's - 2014's (Jan-Jun 26, no SYFA or CSFA fees to be paid as 2014's have their 18 month registration from Jan 25 to Jun 26, will register in May 26 for 11 a-side competition season 2026/27 that starts in Aug 26)
CSFA competitions for season 2026 are set-up on Comet, teams to register against the competition, entry will show as SUBMITTED, league will review and update to APPROVED, teams then pay online using card the SYFA registration
fee via the stripe payment system built into Comet which will then automatically update the status to CONFIRMED.
Player registrations no longer expire on 31st Dec, a players registration is only cancelled when the team terminate on Comet.
Teams are strongly encouraged to complete the SYFA and CSFA registration processes a.s.a.p and to populate your team catalogue for 2026 with the registered players that are staying with your team and the required team officials covering the SYFA mandatory
positions of Team Manager, Team First Aider and Team Coach (1.2 children's level) as well as individuals you have at Team Helper and Team Coach Assistant level so the SYFA can review, approve and update each individuals status to ACTIVE.
Please remember that the SYFA close prior to Xmas and do not re-open until after New Year, likely Mon 5th Jan.
SYFA football shut down finishes on Sun 11th Jan, outdoor friendlies can resume from Mon 12th Jan 26 but only for teams who are fully SYFA / CSFA registered and have their players and team officials all sitting at ACTIVE status in your team catalogue.
Completed the required processes now which give the SYFA the window to review and approve over the next 3 - 4 weeks before Xmas/NY break.
CSFA registration form is attached below, a registration form per team being entered is required, completed forms are emailed to CSFA Admin at: csfa1@hotmail.com, teams to pay the CSFA league fees at the same time to the bank account details
confirmed in the form using team name/age group as the payment reference so the amount paid can be tied up and updated against the team name on CSFA team registrations file.
Clubs who have multiple teams at an age group, you register the multiple teams under one SYFA team id number and complete a CSFA registration form for each individual team being entered.
Page 1 of registration form is required now, page 2 can be filled out and submitted closer to the start of the fixtures for the 1st playing period.
